We spent our third day in Brighton, which I liked a lot. Beautiful town and nice shops, and the Pavilion was amazing. Brighton in many ways felt like a British mini San Francisco.
There happened to be an animatronic dinosaur display at a mall when we were visiting. In case you didn’t know dinosaurs are one of my biggest lifelong interests.
Brighton hotel.
At the Brighton Pavilion, truly one of the most spectacular buildings I’ve visited. I didn’t think the exterior could be topped, but it was! Unfortunately no photos were allowed inside.
Incredibly delicious afternoon tea at the Pavilion.
Got a new lipstick and found this lipstick case at the pavilion the same day.
The old pier.
The new pier.
One of my favourite Midsomer Murders episodes was set in Brighton and one of the murders took place in this ride.
I found three Film Review books from 1946, 1951 and 1953 at a street flea market. They’re great with lots of pictures, many in colour.
Waiting for the train to Paris.
