Next day we left Palm Springs to go to Disneyland!
On our way from Palm Springs I finally got to glimpse the Cabazon dinosaurs. It was too dark when we arrived.
When we arrived in Anaheim we went for a drink at the new tiki bar at Disneyland hotel, Trader Sam’s. It was great! I loved the atmosphere and they played just the right music, and Ioved how things would happen (water spraying, thunderstorm outside a fake window and such) when people ordered certain drinks.
Next morning we went to Disneyland. I wore a very Lana Turner inspired outfit with my Mexican inspired playsuit, a turban and a great pair of shoes I got from a Swedish catalogue some time ago. They are really your typical orthopedic old lady shoes, but look like the perfect 40s wedge.
Spying at the Jungle Cruise.
We had lunch at the wonderful Blue Bayou, a restaurant inside the Pirates of the Caribbean ride that has the coziest atmosphere, and usually great food.
I absolutely loved this rotten old skeleton you could wind out of the water, right up my swampy, rotten alley! I wish there was a whole park with more gross and scary things like this, made with the same care and attention to detail and atmosphere as the Disney parks.
Henrik looking blasé.
